ABOUT THE STUDIO
A practice built on discretion, curiosity, and craft
Elegant Spaces Interior Design began as a small studio with a single, clear intention: to create interiors that feel quietly confident rather than loudly decorated. Over the years, we have grown into a multidisciplinary team of designers, architects, and project specialists united by a shared dedication to considered, enduring design.
Our philosophy
We believe that truly successful interiors are the result of careful listening and disciplined editing. Rather than imposing a singular house style, we work to reveal the potential within each space and align it with the people and stories it holds.
Every project begins with a conversation about how you live and work now—and how you would like that experience to evolve. We study your architecture, natural light, and existing possessions, then build a design language that feels authentic to both you and the building.
Our palette often leans toward warm neutrals, layered textures, and sculptural forms that age gracefully. However, we are equally drawn to bold art, unexpected materials, and tailored color moments when they serve the narrative of the space.
Sustainability as standard
We integrate sustainable practices into each project by prioritizing long-lasting materials, flexible layouts, and solutions that reduce unnecessary waste. Working with trusted suppliers, we specify responsibly sourced timber, low-VOC finishes, and efficient lighting systems that support comfort and wellbeing.
A collaborative process
Our best work is the result of close collaboration—with clients, consultants, and craftspeople. We welcome questions, value transparency, and provide clear documentation at every stage so you can make confident decisions.
Global perspective
With projects completed across North America, Europe, and Asia, our team is experienced in working across time zones, regulatory frameworks, and cultural contexts. We adapt our approach to suit each city while maintaining a consistent commitment to detail.
How we work with you
Our process is structured yet flexible, designed to give you clarity at every stage while leaving room for creative exploration. We guide you through each decision, allowing you to be as involved or hands-off as you prefer.
Step 1
Discovery & briefing
We begin with in-depth conversations, site visits, and documentation to understand your aspirations, constraints, and architectural context. This is where we define the scope, budgets, and key milestones.
Step 2
Concept & narrative
Our team develops an overarching design narrative supported by mood imagery, spatial studies, and outline finishes. We explore multiple options and refine the direction together until it feels exactly right.
Step 3
Design development
We translate the approved concept into detailed drawings, joinery designs, lighting plans, and material schedules. At this stage, we coordinate with architects, engineers, and other consultants as needed.
Step 4
Execution & styling
During construction and installation, we oversee quality, coordinate trades, and manage timelines. The process concludes with careful styling and handover, ensuring every detail is resolved before you move in.

Questions about working together
We aim to make the design process as clear and reassuring as the final result. Below are some of the questions we are frequently asked by new clients.
What types of projects does Elegant Spaces typically take on?
We specialize in high-end residential and boutique commercial projects, including city apartments, townhouses, penthouses, hospitality spaces, and flagship offices. While most of our work is in urban centers, we occasionally partner on select countryside or coastal homes when the brief is aligned with our approach.
At what stage in a project should we involve your studio?
The earlier you bring us into a project, the more value we can add. For new builds or major renovations, we prefer to be engaged during early architectural planning so that interior layouts, services, and structural decisions support the eventual design. For furnishing and styling projects, we recommend reaching out at least four to six months before your ideal completion date.
Do you work with clients based outside your city?
Yes. We regularly collaborate with clients in other cities and countries through a combination of on-site visits and remote meetings. Our team is experienced in managing long-distance communication, coordinating local contractors, and adapting to regional regulations and procurement channels.
How do you structure your fees?
Our fees are typically a combination of a fixed design fee for each phase of work and a separate project management fee when we oversee implementation. Following our initial consultation and a clear brief, we provide a transparent proposal outlining design stages, deliverables, and fee structures so you can move forward with confidence.
Can you work with existing furniture and art collections?
Absolutely. Many clients come to us with treasured pieces they wish to keep. We begin by cataloging existing items, assessing scale and condition, and then determining how they can be integrated or reinterpreted within the new scheme. When appropriate, we also source complementary pieces to complete the narrative.
What does your sustainability commitment look like in practice?
Our sustainability efforts include prioritizing durable materials, specifying certified timber and responsible textiles, minimizing unnecessary demolition, and incorporating energy-efficient lighting and systems. We work closely with suppliers who share these values and can propose alternative solutions when conventional options are misaligned with your environmental goals.
